On Friday, May 15, the John L. Thornton China Center and Center for East Asia Policy Studies at Brookings held a webinar featuring experts from Asian cities and economic sectors to discuss their experiences with efforts to ease social restrictions and reopen economies.
Robert T. Grieves was invited as a speaker and pointed out that despite pressure on hotels and the F&B sector, a sagging property market and airline agony, biomedicine and related fields offer hope for Hong Kong, given the SAR’s strong healthcare sector.
